One cannot pass by those cats with difference, they cause delight or digust. People, thought creatures without hair, in most cases don't fancy looking at other fairless mamals. Naked cats have existed for centuries. There are many legends and myths about those hairless animals, which were often considered as saint animals or creatures which come from outer space. Naked cats which originated from Mexico were known since Aztecs times. The Sphynx we know nowdays were catteried in 60's of the last century in Canada.
